Boofle Baby Card

I have designed this card using the fabulous new Boofle elements range,
available for either boys or girls.

This is a nice quick and easy card, but still looks fabulous.

Materials:-
14cm x 14cm scalloped edged card.
A4 sheet of Blue or pink gingham paper.
Boofle elements pack.
Ink pad
Double sided tape or glue.

How to create:-

1. Take the scalloped edged card and carefully distress the scallop top with a blue inkpad.
2. Cut out two pieces of the gingham paper 14cm x 14cm.
3. Take one of the pieces of gingham paper and stick to the inside of the card.
4.  Next take the second piece of gingham paper and pencil round the edge of the scallop card to get a template of the edge. (Ensure the paper is the right side up when you draw round the template or the scallops will be the wrong way round).
5. Cut out the scallops and rub out the pencil lines.
6. Attach the paper to the front of the card, leaving a white border, then trim of the excess paper.
7. Now decorate your card with all the self adhesive  Boofle embellishments

Here are a few cards that have been made using the
items you get for free with

The only things extra that I have used is ink and acrylic block to
stamp the stamps and double sided tape.

Craft Class of January

On the first Saturday of the month I hold a craft class for children and the week following it I have classes for adults on the Tuesday and Thursday nights. Here is a picture of what we are making tonight. It is done using the 5" x 7" Cuttlebug Embossing Folder - Clockworks and core-dinations card, which when embossed I have run over the raised areas with an emery board to reveal a different colour underneath.
To make the rosette style embellishment I cut the larger clockwork from the embossed area and added a screw brad, a great touch for masculine cards.
This card is made using a stamp called "Soccer Don" from
Marianne Designs Don and Daisy stamps a great stamp for kids cards.
If you are interested in booking a place on one of the craft class then you can get in touch by ringing the shop on  01332 662724 or email me on enquiries@crafty-ways.co.uk

First Post Of Our Blog

Welcome to our new blog.
We will try and keep it updated regularly.
Here is a card made using a new range of dies we now stock in the shop.
It is from Cheery Lynn designs and it is called Japanese Garden Lace Oval.

Also here is a card made using die cuts from Marianne Designs.

It is called Doily Ovals (CR1204)
The cute little mushrooms background paper is from a Christmas Paper Pack called Eline's Winter Huis
We love these papers and most can be used for other occasions.
